Dutch neo-nederbeat, not made in the sixties but in the nineties, equally good though. |
A great vocal track for a mostly surf-oriented band. |
Swedish punkrock in their wellknown tradition. |
This band is alittle bit neglected by us Grunen-people, this a great early 7" on excellent Estrus. |
No comment needed, very big in VERA in the second half of the eighties, slow me only discovered 'm @ Pukkelpop, 1991. |
Listen to the track and you know why this is included: it's funny and beautifull at the same time, a classic. |
Classic punkband, highly overlooked, but I won't forget 'm. One LP and 4 singles released, this is from the LP. |
Never my band really but a good band anyway. |
One of the first T-Shirts I bough was one by The Creamers. Classic early nineties punkband. |
Runaways X Ramones X Donnas from Sweden |
Great track from an almost forgotten nineties version of a sixties-garage-punkband, nice one. |
Great song, famous band. |
Anything related to the Oblivians ALWAYS is in my book, period. |
Dutch band with a track that did (and does) it very well on dancenights in the city. A must (again). |
Funny girls from funny SF, USA. |
Strong punkband, still need to be listed on this site. |
It's a Hank Williams' cover sounding like Michael Jackson, great track to dance to. |
Arty young punkrockband from NYC, highly hip in the strange modern "alternative rockworld". |
Classic band, unique sound, recommended for people who think most bands on this list re-invent the wheel ... (btw I love wheels). |
This is for Mr. Blackwell, it's his all-time fave 7" he said and yes I like it too. |
Last week we had already a "smartlap". The correct english explanation od "smartlap" might be "weeping song" (thanks Bert René). This one is about a sailor's little boy who never saw his father again. Classic and way better than a lot of "more wellknown smartlappen". Offcourse this is played for my girl and for my girl only. |
