from now on it's just great bands, so from now on you should think of that added to each band's track's comment, this is a band a needed to get accustomed to, way in the beginning (1992) I wasn't too fond of 'm, but later on I started to really love 'm, slow groovy noiserock, great to dance too and a very good liveband too |
lofi indie-band with a noisy edge to 'm and a great (and too difficult sofar) discography, live a little less which costed them about 20 places I think |
legendary NYC noiseband, if they'd play todat they'd be an independent supergroup, now they're a band I deeply regret to never have seen live, this is a dancehit (for me) |
legendary man, coming from the (rather boring) Byrds he made two excellent solo albums back in 1973 and 1974, then he died so I obviously never saw 'm live, nevertheless a high position cause now and then I'm a sensitive countryrocker ... |
great band, defining lo-fi "strange" music in a great way, if I'd seen 'm live they'd be higher, as you guessed I didn't so we'll just play their records, a classic must for all indie and lofi fans |
punkrocking girls they were on the first LP which naturally is the one I like the most, later they get more hard- and less punk-rock with every release, new album upcoming this month |
great live indie popband with a nice noisy edge, great lyrics and catchy tunes |
the highest band with no recordings predating this millennium, says it all, boozey, whiskey-loaded bluesy garagetrash at it's best, touring europe in january 2003 and man do I like that ... |
lovely girls and (about) the loveliest man on the planet doing a ska-ish track from their first album, great overloooked band, cool to see live (breasts everywhere, mmmm), they played in Italy with small pictures of the pope on their nipples, the pope never recovered ... |
great one-off band, a one-time recording project really, don't think they ever played any live-gig, this is from their 7", there's a 12" too, only famous people in the band |
classy band from Memphis, Ohio, great family tree (see their page), excellent track, covered by the next band (live that is), which proves both bands being cool and excellent really |
you know 'm and I was quite happy to see 'm in VERA, I think they are the biggest selling band on this website ... cool swedish rock'n'roll really, great people, true to their roots and recognising the sheer greatness of the Reigning Sound too, what more can you want ... |
the best track on earth to play when you're fed up with your boss, excellent lo-fi punkrock, two albums only and yes I loved 'm live in 1993 |
rather wellknown indieband, great forest-rock with a very nice feel to it, totally cool vocals by a man who is listed solo in the next hour ... never saw 'm live and I want that to be corrected, so I'd say come to play europe (and especially VERA) again boys and I'll be there |
NYC nineties (a little noisy) punk, actually more of a one-man band with revolving line-ups of stars around 'm, needed live too |
indie-noise band at it's best, they made the VERA-polls back in 1991 with the album this is coming from, a must |
the definition of a garageband, and the definition of nice people, they played VERA over ten times already and as far as I'm concerned they can come back any time they want to |
soulfull twistin' garageband, this is their best track, once again a cover, but who cares, great vocals and I want them live too |
legendary fifties-man, with a very own stompin' sound in about all his songs, the most covered artist on this planet, though he always gets credited as Elias McDaniel(s) which is his real name |
